FAQs
Our stores can get quite busy, but we may occasionally accommodate walk-in appointments. However, we strongly recommend booking in advance to ensure you don't miss out.
Yes, you can reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours in advance! However, if you make changes on the day of your appointment or miss it entirely, you may forfeit your deposit.
Age Restrictions:
- Lobe Piercings: Ages 10-18. Must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Both the guardian and the child must present valid IDs. If their last names differ, a birth or adoption certificate matching the guardian’s name is required.
- Cartilage Piercings: Ages 16+. Must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Both the guardian and the child must present valid IDs. If their last names differ, a birth or adoption certificate matching the guardian’s name is required.
- From Age 18: No guardian is required. However, customers who appear under 25 must present ID.
ID Requirements:
Only government-issued IDs are accepted, and we do not accept photocopies—only the original documents, such as passports or driving licenses.
ID and Age Verification:
- We Challenge 25: We recommend bringing your ID with you, as we do not accept photocopies.
- Ages 16-18: You must bring a valid ID (either a passport or driving licence) when getting pierced. This is a legal requirement and necessary for insurance purposes. If you appear to be under 18, we will ask for ID, so it's best to have it with you just in case.
Ages 10-15: We can pierce your ears with permission from a parent or legal guardian. They will need to bring valid ID for both themselves and the minor, and must complete the consent form. If the guardian’s surname differs from the child’s, a birth or adoption certificate is required. No exceptions!
The maximum number of piercings you can get in a single appointment is 2, but you'll need to select the "Two Ear Piercing Appointment." This can be a combination of lobe and cartilage piercings; however, if you choose two cartilage piercings, they must be on the same ear.
Our piercing collection includes both studs and hoops, but you'll need to consult with your piercer to ensure they're suitable for your piercing placement.
You can purchase our 14k gold piercing jewelry online with a shorter post for your healed piercings.
We only pierce daiths with specific styles of hoops and studs designed for daith piercings. Your piercer will be able to advise you on the appropriate jewelry for your piercing.
For conch piercings, we use studs initially due to the healing process. Once your piercing has fully healed after a few months, you can switch from a stud to a ring if you prefer. To make this change, book a ‘Jewelry Change Appointment’ online, and we can assist you with this and other styles.
The possibility of re-piercing will depend on your scar tissue and whether your piercer deems it safe. We recommend booking a consultation appointment beforehand to assess the situation.
Yes, downsizing your piercing jewelry is free if you book it with your piercer during your original appointment. If you book a downsizing appointment separately, there will be a $25 service charge per appointment.
Changing your piercing depends on how well it's healing and the placement of the piercing. For recommended healing times, please refer to our Aftercare Guide. Once your piercing has fully healed, you can book a ‘Jewelry Change Appointment’ online to switch your jewelry.
Healing times can vary based on individual factors and the location of the piercing. For detailed information, please refer to our Aftercare Guide.
Depending on how long your piercing has been in place, we recommend coming to our store as soon as possible.
If you’ve lost your jewelry, find the original post and cover the piercing with a plaster to prevent it from closing. Contact our Customer Care Team to arrange for a replacement.
Your piercer will inform you if your piercing needs to be downsized to a smaller size. Please note that we only offer downsizing for straight piercing studs; this service is not available for rook bars or piercing hoops.
